What is PSDS?
The Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme is a UK Government initiative aimed at helping public sector organisations reduce their carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency. The scheme was launched to support public sector bodies, including Local Authorities, in implementing energy efficiency measures and low carbon technologies. By investing in energy saving projects, the PSDS aims to contribute to the UK’s commitment to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and accelerate the transition to a greener and more sustainable future.
