Alliance Leisure is proud to have played a key role in the development of sustainable leisure and wellness facilities across North Yorkshire, worth a combined investment of circa £50m. With a focus on enhancing community wellbeing, these facilities offer a wide range of amenities to cater to diverse needs.

Our relationship with North Yorkshire Council began before it became a unitary authority in 2023, with the transformation of Northallerton Leisure Centre back in 2018. Since then, we have been appointed to transform or create five other leisure facilities, to undertake carbon-reduction projects across four centres under the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, and provide marketing and training support for the teams behind these sites.

Most recently, Alliance Leisure were appointed the development partner on two momentous projects for North Yorkshire Council worth over £30 million: the transformation of Harrogate Leisure and Wellness Centre, and the creation of Knaresborough Leisure and Wellness Centre.

Alliance Leisure has been a key long term partner in our transformation to an active wellbeing service. They are helping to make our ambitions a reality – delivering high quality projects across North Yorkshire.
