Scotstoun is one of Scotland’s leading sport and leisure destinations and is already a leading rackets sports facility with its comprehensive Tennis, Badminton and Squash provision.
We supported Glasgow Life in delivering this exciting project, which has transformed two of Scotstoun’s eight indoor tennis courts into three high-quality indoor padel courts.
Importantly, six indoor tennis courts remain at Scotstoun, ensuring the venue continues to host performance programmes, competitions and community coaching, alongside regional, national and international tennis events.
Tennis icon Judy Murray officially opened three new state-of-the-art padel courts at Glasgow Club Scotstoun at a ceremony on Monday 20th April 2026, before being joined by padel coach John Byrne and other top Scottish players.
