Client: North East Derbyshire District Council

Project value: £190,852

About the Project

The project was commissioned by North East Derbyshire District Council to refurbish Killamarsh Skate Park. Due to its age the park had fallen into poor condition and was in need of updating. The project was developed by Alliance Leisure in partnership with Surfacing Standards Limited and Fearless Ramps. A new timber frame skatepark was designed including new ramps, jumps skill sections, half pipe, resurfacing and a perimeter fence to accommodate skaters, scooter riders and BMX riders from beginner to advanced levels.

The project started October 2023 and was completed February 2024. The Skate Park as had a large following during the refurbishment and is expected to drawer skaters from near and far due to its impressive jumps and half pipes.
