Growth in Membership

This project involved a complete refurbishment of the existing leisure centre both internally and externally. The objective throughout the development was to extend the longevity and commercial performance of the centre, and make it more relevant for its local residents.

The facilities installed include:

A gym extension increasing the size of the gym to 70 stations
A new wellness suite
Relocation of the entrance and reception
Conversion of the small pool to an adventure play facility
New café
New reception
New façade treatment
New curtain walling to the front elevation
Landscaping to the surrounding area

I am delighted we have been able to produce such an outstanding leisure facility – the first in the borough for a generation. The facilities it boasts are second to none and I am sure new and existing visitors to our leisure centres will be overwhelmed with what we have to offer.
