Why play?

Engaging in play enhances the overall cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of children and adolescents. Play serves as a valuable tool for young individuals to explore both the world around them and themselves, while also equipping them with essential life skills, including self-confidence and communication.

In partnership with ukactive, we produced the Active Families report, where we explored the vital role that family life plays in a child’s exposure to physical activity and the positive contribution purpose built facilities can play on the journey.

What we do

Alliance Leisure works in partnership with some of the play industry’s leading experts to provide a fully inclusive service, from scoping to installation and beyond. Our expert partners boast incredible knowledge surrounding play, which can guide our clients and help to provide the right mix of play offerings for each unique audience. We’ve created amazing outdoor play spaces and transformed under-utilised indoor space into engaging play activity areas.

Procurement Routes

Many of our play developments have been procured through the UK Leisure Framework, which offers a turnkey solution to developments and allows for a streamlined process from conception to public opening. The UK Leisure Framework is available to all UK public sector organisations.

Play Variety

Our expertise is sourcing a best-in-class project team that will deliver the most appropriate play facilities for a local community. Whilst ‘play’ is often thought of as traditional swings and roundabouts, our projects have varied from large water parks and splash pads to indoor soft play and climbing facilities.

RFID technology incorporated into the facilities can add a competitive edge and allow an operator to motivate users through leaderboards and monitoring activity levels.
