We have had the pleasure of working with the Alliance Leisure team on a number of our council led leisure developments in West Suffolk. Alliance Leisure have been an integral part of the delivery of three extensive refurbishment projects at Haverhill, Newmarket and Brandon. Each scheme has successfully been completed on time and on budget and Alliance Leisure played a key role in that achievement. Whilst the focus of these projects has been Leisure our scheme at Brandon has included NHS facilities and at Newmarket our shared facility has integrated closely with the attached academy. All our schemes now offer much more than just sport they have become co-located hubs for their local communities. We found Alliance Leisure, from the get go, the collaborative working relationship with our team has been excellent. Their specialist knowledge of leisure sector has been critical to the success of our projects. Alliance Leisure were able to pull together a team of experienced architects, building contractors that listened to our requirements guiding us through scoping, design, costing and build. On multiple occasions throughout the projects Alliance Leisure have responded to the challenges we have set and answered in a timely manner never failing to meet our deadlines. Alliance Leisure have always communicated clearly and regularly throughout and responded professionally and pleasantly.

The re-development project we have delivered at Brandon Leisure and Wellbeing Hub provides potentially life-changing facilities for users and is a great example of the benefits in bringing together leisure and health under one roof. Working in collaboration with West Suffolk Council, who funded the £2m project, and Abbeycroft Leisure, the transformation will no doubt provide a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the local community.
