Monmouthshire County Council wanted to improve their fitness offering at Chepstow Leisure Centre by creating a more welcoming environment. The project included a new reception area and an updated gym to create consistency across their portfolio of facilities.
The development also included a full refurbishment of the existing café, kitchen and servery, offering a new menu to all users, members, local groups and the local community.
The project, delivered via the UK Leisure Framework, was completed on-time and within budget.
This has been an amazing project delivering really positive outcomes for the health and wellbeing of our communities. We have seen some high numbers of new members coming through our membership so from a business perspective this has been extremely beneficial and customer feedback levels and appreciation have been well received.
